Fucking Stephen Harper

How I Sexually Assaulted the 22nd Prime Minister of Canada and Saved Democracy

A young journalist recounts the (mostly… well, partly…) true story of how he got arrested for sexually assaulting the Prime Minister while attempting to secure an interview with Stephen Harper during the 2008 federal election.

A gay-rights manifesto buried within an hour of outrageous political satire, more than 4,500 people have been tickled by this raucous and sometimes raunchy one-man show.

Production History:

Fucking Stephen Harper was developed with the support of the Buddies in Bad Times Theatre Young Creators Unit. The show debuted at the 2009 Toronto Fringe Festival and later toured to Winnipeg, Edmonton, Victoria, Vancouver, Ottawa, Calgary, Wakefield, London, Montreal, and Halifax in 2010-12, and was an affiliate event at Toronto Pride 2012.

Ten Foot Pole Theatre is proud to announce Fucking Stephen Harper has raised more than $800 for partner organizations that help people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
