After a chance encounter walking across a bridge at night, two one-time lovers relive an erotic outdoor adventure – but all is not what it seems.

Shot guerrilla-style on Toronto’s iconic Bloor Viaduct and Greektown neighborhoods, EXT. TORONTO. NIGHT. spins a uniquely queer romantic adventure of nostalgia, danger, and desire.

“I wanted to tell a story that was sexy and risky and beautiful,” says writer-director Rob Salerno. “This film looks at how relationships between gay men can be meaningful and loving even when they’re fleeting.”

Rob Salerno (writer/director/actor) is a Toronto-born writer and performer who’s been labeled a “theatrical rabble rouser” by The Globe and Mail. Rob wrote and starred in his first short films, Palau and Incoming Missile! and produced his original award-winning original plays Balls, Big in Germany, and First Day Back in more than thirty festivals across Canada and around the world. First Day Back earned Rob nominations for Outstanding New Play and Outstanding Performance at Toronto’s 2016 Dora Awards. Film and TV credits include You Should Meet My Son 2 (dir. Keith Hartman), Tri-Curious (dir. Matt Guerin), and Fear Thy Neighbor.

Eric Morin (actor) is a multi-disciplinary artist from Timmins, Ontario who has worked and collaborated with some of Canada’s most distinguished theatre companies.
